As a writer, her work focuses on bringing the stories of underrepresented characters, women and unlikely heroes to a wider audience through genre stories. As a director, she's collaborated with some of the world's top talent, from Michael Bublé to Jessie Reyez, and her work has garnered hundreds of millions of views. Her films have been screened at the Atlanta Film Festival, Hollyshorts, CFC Short Film Festival, and Toronto After Dark, and in 2021 she was recognized with a Juno award.
