Kyle has a directing degree from Columbia College Chicago & over 12 years of art department experience in Los Angeles. After overcoming testicular cancer in 2012, he founded [CHECK 15](WWW.CHECK15.ORG) which has crafted 68 cancer awareness PSAs, fighting cancer through early detection & lowering risk - all delivered with a healthy dose of humor. In addition to this, volunteering for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, & continued freelance art department gigs, Kyle somehow manages to watch over 100 newly released films every year, as well as many older films & of course rewatching favorites... He kind of likes movies.

This week we hit the first of two remakes of Carrie (so far), with 2002's Bryan Fuller scripted TV movie. Can Patricia Clarkson and Angela Bettis live up to the iconic portrayals from the original?! Were television CG effects good in 2002? Will special guest Kyle Smith be mad we made him watch this movie?!
All this and more in a brand new episode of Sequel Rights!
