Rob Klein is Vice President of Creative Development at Sid & Marty Krofft Pictures. He directed, wrote and produced the You Tube docuseries Mondays with Marty Krofft (2021-2023) for Sid & Marty Krofft Pictures. While he was the manager of the Walt Disney Archives he directed, wrote, produced the documentary Disney People and Places: Archiving the Archives – Forty Years of Preserving the Magic (2010) which premiered in the Disney Studio's theater. In 2009 and 2011 he wrote the exhibition catalogs and curated the popular Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives exhibits as well as the executive producer of the series Disney’s D23: Armchair Archivist. Rob also took the Disney Archives collection from 15 costumes to over 3,000 pieces of iconic wardrobe that was unidentified and nearly forever lost before Disney closed Walt Disney's original wardrobe department in 2007.
He is the author of the Universal Studios / Amblin coffee table book Back to the Future Almanac: 1985-2015 (2014) and curated the Back to the Future Trilogy: The Exhibit for the Hollywood Museum, which remained on public display for two years (2019-2021). He has been an on-camera Hollywood and entertainment history expert for the Walt Disney Company, NBCUniversal, Pawn Stars (2009 - 2021) and Collector’s Call (2019-present). He owns and curates one of the largest private collections of original entertainment props, costumes and picture vehicles in the world.
